The original Espadrille store

Welcome to Spain at your Feet, the very first traditional espadrille store in North America.
Our Spanish espadrilles, which are handmade in a small village of northern Spain, are the result of a centuries old tradition, still very much alive and adapted to today’s fashion requirements.
Enjoy the feeling of a joyous Spanish atmosphere by choosing amongst a large variety of espadrilles in different models and colors, available for men, women and children.  In addition, we also offer a wide range of specialty Spanish food products, such as turron, paella ingredients etc., as well as a fine collection of terracotta dishes and many elements necessary for Spanish cuisine.
As pictures speak louder than words, an image, feel free to browse around in our 3D virtual tour.

Diego Arnedo and Gabrielle Cousineau bring a mix of Spanish and Canadian influence, making a visit to the store a unique experience, combining their expertise and sense of welcoming.  Their sons Enzo and Esteban give their full support to their happy parents by displaying kid’s espadrilles and are a big hit on Facebook. Diego, whose family originates from the town of Arnedo, neighboring the village of Cervera, visits the Spanish team on a regular basis. Our Spanish friends are as much fun as their products.

THE ORIGIN OF OUR ESPADRILLES
Our espadrilles are entirely hand sewn in a small village in northern Spain, called Cervera del Rio Alhama. These consist of a braided jute rope sole hand sewn to an organic cotton top. First, the jute braid is rolled into a sole shape, and is then partly vulcanized for better adhesion. Thereafter the cotton is cut into various pattern sizes, according to the model.  Soles, tops and thread are delivered to villagers at home, where they finish the espadrille by sewing the various elements together.
